Nearly every option can be added to xGenius through a software license or via the addition of a Hot-Pluggable Interface module, the only options that are factory fit are the GPS ad Clock Reference capability, and upgrade of the standard TCXO oscillator to OCXO or Rubidium. It is best to order these items if required at the time of purchase, however it is possible to upgrade these items at a later date through a return to the factory.
Software updates for xGenius are free of charge for all users, software updates provide bug fixes and new features for those options that have been purchased and are licensed on the unit.
